The business is the best.! Pool with beer or cocktail is so much fun. Seating is more than enough. I’ve never waited. Great place to hangout, sit and chat.

I asked for my 18 dollar hamburger to be medium rare. It came out an hour later medium well. The greens and pasta were good. Definitely a mixed experience. I just wished someone asked me about my food.

Wheres my Cider?. Crab cakes, Caesar Salad, cool night, and a drink. This place delivered. Except for the Cider I wanted.

Rude staff. I have been to high horse twice. Both times I was treated poorly by the staff. Tonight the bartender actually made me cry he was so rude. I will never support this place as long as they employ rude staff that only car about tips and not if the bar looses customers or money.I have never been spoken to so harshly by a waiter/bartender as I have TWICE at this place.

Really Can Afford its High Horse. High Horse is a real treat. For the quality and quantity provided, the costs are absurdly reasonable. The Chicken Adobo is delectable; tender, sweetly sour and with a slight kick. Their specials are great too – the Black Fish and mango salsa was sweet and tender not to mention dock-fresh. Each plate came with local Chard and basmati rice. I’d like to sample their fries which seem their brewpub-standby done right. Terrific service to top it all off.EDITReturning this evening for dinner and I noticed the portions to be smaller and flavors somewhat muted. Still a great option in restaurant-heavy Amherst but less exciting.

I went for lunch, I didn’t try the beer but I heard good things. The veggie burger was excellent, and the french fries were obviously fresh cut. From my experience I would Recommend giving this place try! I was impressed.
