Stopped in to see what a popover was. Sat at the bar – met Judie- so friendly. Everyone eating around me was old employees who come often for the delicious food and friendly employees.

Good but for a price. A bit pricey but well worth the splurge for a special occasion. Their popovers are truly astounding and desserts heavenly. The pie and toffee pudding are to die for. Its a nice, airy, comfortable dining locale in which to take in the Amherst bustle.

Solidly good food, pear salad was very good, small portion menu options aren’t even that small. Desserts are decadent. Service was very pleasant and attentive.

Sangrias are amazing!!! Overpriced, semi unimaginative, but fresh and yummy.

My favorite testaurant in Amherst. Popovers, Their House lemon poppy dressing. Good coffee, Great decor. There is too much to like. Not many people can make vegetarian dishes tasty. Judie’s makes many great vegetarian dishes.

Some good food. Service is hit or miss. Knowledge of wine mostly miss. Judy once came out and argued with me when I sent a hard boiled egg back because it had a black ring of sulfur around the yolk. That indicates to me an overcooked egg. That is unacceptable on a $13 salad. In my world, you cook something until it is done, then stop. Light fluffy yolk ensues. She came out and suggested that you must cook an egg to death or else you will perish from salmonella. Huh? Arguing with a customer is silly, especially when you are wrong. The burgers are good though. Just don’t expect greatness like I did, you’ll be let down.
