I am not harsh with places always, well, who am I kidding. If the place is not what I expected, especially in terms of service, when I pay them for treating me well, the place does not get away with a decent review. While visiting my friend who studies in Amherst, I wanted to have Thai food. This was one of the Thai places close to where she stayed and she had never been there either. So we decided to head here for lunch. We entered the place and just a table was occupied. I usually make it a point to wait to be seated, somehow it slipped out of our mind this time around and sat at a table which was illuminated by sunlight. The waitress comes to us and tells us, rudely I might add that next time please wait to be seated. I agree that it was our mistake, but the place was empty, and she was not at the counter. After a while it got hot and we asked another waitress if it was okay to change our table. She said this is the one you chose right? Once, I would let it go. Not twice! I am paying you, do not treat me like I am eating food for free.We got down to ordering and ordered:Green Curry (I am a major Thai food lover, this was not up to mark. The quantity was too less for the price we paid. It had green beans in excess)Spicy Tofu (This was good. Actually very good)Pad Thai (The quantity was decent, but was too sweet)I would not have been harsh if they were not rude. They can get away with bad food but NEVER with bad service! Not going back, definitely because I do not stay in Amherst! I absolutely do not recommend.
