Low End in a High End Town. I had dinner at Andonili’s bar a few weeks ago and noticed debris in my 2nd glass of wine. When I informed the bartender, she stated that it was probably cork (it absolutely was not cork pieces). Instead of pouring a new glass of wine, she went to the kitchen and came back with the glass of wine, debris free but slightly less filled. She definitely grabbed a coffee filter to pour my wine through. We’ve all heard of more inappropriate acts in restaurants. However, this was a very low end act in a restaurant that is in an affluent town and at least trying to look like a high end restaurant.I will never return to this establishment.

Service fair at best drinks were terrible tried the orange and basil martini tasted more like grapefruit ordered calamari they were NOT fresh spicy mussels were not al all spicy and portions were tiny main courses were fair they all would have benefitted from good old salt and pepper , waitress friendly but not on point will NEVER go there again 🙁

Great Find. My husband and I chose the Andover area because it was the half-way point to meet friends. Andolinis looked interesting, so we thought we’d give it a try.Positive Points:Our service was excellent and the food was fantastic. It was quiet outside and easy to talk. We often meet friends who we haven’t seen in a long time, only to find out that we can’t hear each other when we talk. We were a party of four and all had very different dishes: 1) Mushroom ravioli, 2) Double Pork Chops, 3) Personal Pizza, 4) Chicken and Mushroom with pesto and penne pasta Appetizers: a) Bruschetta b) fried calamariEveryone loved their main courses and the Bruschetta and fried calamari were equally as good. What can be improved:We sat outside, and the appearance of the outside area could use some sprucing up. We sat in the back and could see back down the alley, which wasn’t particularly attractive. Believe it or not, the menus were all stained and dirty. This is a shame as it’s the first thing you see when you are served, and it’s not appetizing. I think some low music could enhance the mood, although the outside space is shared with another restaurant, so they’d need to agree on the type of music.
