The small place is surprisingly larger on the inside. Tonight they had a two course special for $24.95. I got the warm spinach salad and the swordfish. The food and flavors all worked well together! The drawback was two baby carrots and a small portion of wild rice and squash. I am guessing the starch size was around a half cup. The meal felt healthy and fresh. The people kept coming in tonight!
So-so food, but way overpriced!. This is THE MOST overpriced restaurant Ive ever dined. My husband and I spent about $55 on a dinner there and we both walked out completely hungry! The Sweet Potato Ravioli starter has 3 small pieces of ravioli drowned in cranberries and it costs $8.50. The Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Mashed Potatoes entre ($19) has just one small piece of pork in the middle with one teaspoon of mashed potatoes on the side. The Blueberry Honey Glazed Salmon with Rice ($18) is even more pathetic the salmon is crushed into a very thin layer of pancake on the bottom of the plate with two teaspoons of rice on the top. We will never go back to this restaurant again.
Wonderful food and ambiance. My friend Cindy introduced me to this small, almost hidden gem off the beaten track in Arlington. The food was world class, the service was gracious and attentive (thank you, Kathy and Louis), and the evening was the delight of my visit to Boston. Make sure you save room for desert as they are the chef’s specialty!
