Chili Chicken. It’s hard to find legitimately spicy Chinese food. This dish brings the heat, along with some nice cabbage, peanuts, and cilantro. I’m not sue if it’s even on the menu, but they are happy to make it. It can also be ordered with fish, which is good but less addictive than the chicken.
Menu seems overwhelming, which is okay, but not self explanatory. No brown rice, chicken tenderized and leaves a strange taste and texture. Did you know wonton soup has seaweed? Lots of it!
The dumplings are good. Everything else is pretty bad. For example, the scallion beef has almost no beef or scallion. It is basically a big bowl of watery fried onions. I gave them three chances and at this point I have to throw the menu out. If you want good Chinese make the trek into Allston for Shanghai Gate. Seems to be the best Chinese around.
