This place is easy to find, given the long line of people waiting outside the store to get those cupcakes. The cupcakes are worth the long wait though. My personal favorite are the red velvet and peanut butter chocolate cupcakes. They have a lot of variety so pick and try whichever catches your attention.

Bestest cupcake shop in Boston!! Cannot get better than this. A tight competition to New Yorks Magnolia Bakery. Absolutely loved their red velvet cupcakes. Don’t leave boston without trying them.

The best cupcakes sister recommended this place and was not wrong… Simply awesome, fresh moist and so tasty..

Meh.. We ordered a double chocolate fudge cupcake and some ganesh cupcake, and they tasted ok. The ganesh cupcake had no flavor at all. Not sure if that batch was just a bad batch of cupcakes for that flavor. didn’t want to be rude and complain. The fudge cupcake was super sweet, overall I’ve had better.

Yum! I saw some mixed reviews but we were told that we should try it and that there is usually a line out the door. We got a Red velvet and a Vegan Cranberry Spice and they were both delicious. Sweet but not too sweet. Kinda small in size for the price but worth it.

Wow, surprisingly disappointed in their cupcake quality. Tried the Vanilla2 and the Maple Walnut Crunch. The cake in both was dry and overall lacking in flavor. I’ve done a cupcake crawl of Boston this summer and these cupcakes were the least enjoyable. Georgetown has brought a whimsicle, colorful product and a great idea, but missed the mark in flavor. I will gladly pay for a gourmet cupcake that you can tell in one bite was made with high quality ingredients, I will just be doing it elsewhere. Boston has better if you are looking to purchase more than a brand name.

Does not live up to the hype. I got the chocolate cubed and the chocolate cake w/ vanilla frosting. Both had no chocolate flavor. Vanilla frosting had no flavor. Overall the cupcakes reminded me of a Little Debbie snack cake. I won’t be going back.I’m amending my review as I have discovered the discrepancy with the chocolate & vanilla. It turns out if you download the PDF menu off of Georgetown Cupcake’s website, which I did, it says the cupcake it has a vanilla frosting, but if you look at the description on their website it says it is a vanilla cream cheese frosting. As someone who has food allergies, I make sure and I read menus carefully. This error has the potential to harm someone. If you can’t trust the webiste of a company to provide accurate information on their food products, I personally find it very hard to shop there. I certainly will never be going back here again.
