Typical classic Irish pub, with a good bar/music and some decent food. The glazed wings were nothing extraordinary. Overall, a mediocre experience. The music was also on the bad side and was super loud.

This may not be everybody’s cup of tea, as it is really loud and really crowded, but my service and food couldn’t have been better. My server and barmaid was Katiey. How she can hear and get everything right with all that noise going on I don’t know but she was perfect, attentive and sweet. Lots of TVs for games ( lots of basketball in hockey tonight).Okay, about the food. I started with a bowl of clam chowder, as what else would you have in Boston but chowda? It was a huge bowl and I would say not as sick as I’ve had in the past but it was chocked full of clams and it had amazing flavor. I then ordered the Dublin tri-tip and sauteed vegetables. I don’t know what to say other than I don’t understand how they can possibly sell this meal for $12.95. I substituted a nice salad for the french fries and everything was perfectly cooked. There had to be over a pound of meat as well as a huge portion of vegetables and a really nice salad. This meal was a total of $18.80 without the tax and tip. Without question I will be back the next time I am in town. I’m not sure I will be able to bring myself from ordering anything except the Dublin tri tip. The only reason I’m giving a 4.5 and not a 5 rating is because of how loud the music was, but that is just because I’m a crotchety old bastard.
