I was walking in downtown Boston looking for a place to grab a quick lunch at and this place caught my attention and directly walked in with no hesitation as I was tempted to have a lobster roll. The place is very small yet very cozy and strategically located in downtown Boston. Employees at the cashier are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the trio which consists of three different rolls, lobster, crab and shrimps all of which were really tasty. I loved the buttery bread they use for the roll. Portion is quite small though but the taste made it up.
Really good lobster rolls. I had the trio and the three roll tasted great. However I agree that the portion are small and not fulfilling enough for a consistent meal. Kudoos for the location though!
I’ll start by saying it was the best lobster roll I’ve ever had – I mean look at this thing, it’s absolutely beautiful. It was mouthwatering delicious, a true work of art sandwich. So why not a 5 rating?! Well as you can probably guess from the other comments, the size is an issue. It’s small, hardly a meal for someone with an appetite like mine (I went to shake shack afterwards). For $17 I just want to be a little bit more satisfied.I cannot question the taste though, it was excellent, and I would go back.
Voted the No #1 Lobster roll in Boston but probably also the smallest. The Lobster meat is so very delicious served with almost a brioche type of roll, its $17 + taxes which make it hard money for the portion size.Overall its a good bite really enjoyed it.
