Cafe Nero turns out to be a safe bet – it’s my favourite chain coffee store at home and it worked just fine or a quick breakfast in Boston. Familiar design, relaxing music and enthusiastic staff made me believe they know how to uphold standards across the borders. The food wasn’t bad either – fresh viennoiserie and a cafe au lait with a single shot of espresso totally met my expectations. It’s also great that they place a couple of newspapers here and there to read while sipping a morning coffee.
