For what it is no-frills Chinese-American it mostly succeeds. It’s not going to wow you, but the fried rice is well above average. The eggrolls have beaucoup pork and not just cabbage. The breaded chicken has a thin, crisp batter and not the glorified corn dog batter you often get. The pork strips are moist and actually taste like pork and not the reconstituted sawdust you get elsewhere. The sweet-and-sour sauce is golden and thin, not the fake red glop that’s so commonplace. Would I rather be in Chinatown? Hell yeah. But when you’re stuck in traffic on route 495 N or route 3 N, it’s a quick detour to find sanctuary here. Unless, that is, they stick you in the room to the right of the counter, behind the bar, where Keno addicts scream out their numbers in booze tinged, nicotine throated exuberance. Good times. pigtrip.net
Bad Experience, twice. This is your typical Chinese restaurant by appearance. That is pretty much where it stops. The waiter was quite ignorant and at times seemed to be in a hurry to leave us. A few times the waiter was gone for fifteen minutes, did not bring tea, and even walked away while we were in the middle of ordering. The prices are average but the food itself was borderline sub-par to average. We order two dishes (one of them being General Gau’s Chicken) and they both looked like the same dish with different sauces. Wu Loon Ming is has plenty of outside parking but I am sure the place was less the half empty
