Tasca a great little place where you get an excellent selection of Tapas and other great dishes ala Espaniola ! It has great ambience,a bit noisy(as all Spanish restaurants are) but generally a very festive air about the place especially on days when they have music and Flamenco . Being popular a reservation is advisable to avoid disappointment. The Sangria is excellent and flows freely here. Nice fruity and punchy taste. The Tapas are quite generous helpings so we stuck to a variety of them. The Gambas(shrimp) al Ajillio were very tasty with just the right spicyness to them. The Chichen-Pinche de Pollo with Choriza was tender with lovely flavour and mild spicyness.. Calamari Fritos with Andalucia Salsa were crisp and the tangy sauce lent a great zing to them. The Salmon with Almonds was meaty and juicy and the potato pancake added a novelty to the plate. The Crepe Helado–an icecream with cookies and rolled in a crepe with chocolate and Amaretto and almonds was scrumptous.Tasca is a must visit in Boston if you are fond of Spanish food–even otherwise there are plenty of choices in their menu for others. Service is SpotOn and really friendly, warm and fast. Great experience and we went there several times thereafter..Viva Espania !!!

This place was fabulous. The sangria was excellent, and the tapas were delicious. Best I’ve had since I was in Spain! My friend had the flyte of white wine, almost 3 glasses (they were quite generous) for only $6.50. Try the tortilla espanola, the jamon serrano and queso plate, the spinach and chicken canelon, the salmon potato, the quiche…it was all wonderful! Great atmosphere, perfect for a wonderful meal with friends or a romantic date. For 4 of us we spent $21 each including drinks and tip, ordering 8 tapas plates and were stuffed. Fabulous meal! If you are thinking about going, go already!

Delightful Bargain Tapas. Like the other reviewers have said, the sangria here is fantastic, generous and about 50% cheaper than equivalents in the rest of the city. I was also very charmed by the intimate bar area which was quiet and allowed for easy conversation. On the night of our visit there were several large birthday parties, so the tightly packed dining room was a bit overheated and noisy. Our party of four decided to go with an all-tapas meal, ordering nine of the little (not really so little) dishes to share. We all had our favorites, mine being the chicken croquets, the mushrooms in sherry cream sauce, and the fantastic duck leg on pickled red cabbage. On our next visit, we’re going to try the 3 course prix-fixe meal for $18, a true bargain in Boston.I must take a moment to comment on the service which was flawless, utterly perfect throughout the meal. Our waitress was engaging, witty, playful, and so patient with our indecisiveness. Why is it so hard to get service right in Boston? There are many other places in the city, much more pricey than this, who couldn’t match personal service like this. Our water glasses were never empty, various plates were delivered and cleared seamlessly without interrupting our conversation, and all of our questions were answered confidently. Anyone concerned about parking should probably take the T (Washington Street stop on the B line is directly across the street) or just stay in Hingham. This is the city, after all.
