Let Down. Finally! A place where we can get a table in a Friday night at 7. Of course the tables are super close together, which sucks when it fills. I’d read some laudatory reviews of this place and was excited about particular dishes whose praises had been sung. The Miang Kham was good, especially the ginger chutney part, but it was no better than everywhere else’s.Our Pad See Ew looked and tasted like someone’s leftovers.Kai-Jeaw-Koong-Sub with Pork – I started thinking I may have ordered the wrong thing and not what the Best of Boston guy meant, but why would what I got even be a dish? There was barely any pork, and just a bit of crushed peanuts and some scallions on an omelet? But there was cilantro in the CK10 picture… Or if nothing else, why is this $11??Did we come on an off (Friday) night? Still hungry after a few bites, we moved on to eat elsewhere. oversharielle.com

Great quick and easy Thai. My boyfriend and I wondered into Dok Bua for an impromptu dinner. Overall, I really liked their food. The prices were very reasonable and the Thai Style stir fried noodles were very tasty (tastes like a cross between Pad Thai and General Tso’s Chicken…if that makes any sense). Overall, the noodle dishes are great. However, there are a lot of fusion dishes on there that aren’t spectacular. I wasn’t thrilled with the Fresh Rolls…they are essentially lackluster spring rolls. Also, don’t order the papaya salad…it is more or less a horrible goi salad with too much vinegar. Overall, the rest of the food there is great! The bobo tea is also delish. I highly recommend the rice and noodle dishes!

Great stuff. (review dated 12/07):great, inexpensive thai food. some items on the spicy side. don’t like the tom yam gong (as in those in america, in general. too salty!!), but other food very good. service is quick and on-par, and even when they get busy, you don’t feel the attitude from staff. used to go all the time when living in brighton. Not to be Missed:tom ga gai (coconut chicken soup), pad see ew (stir-fry broad rice noodle w/beef), pad thai (of course!), fish cake w/a sweet & sour chili sauce.:)
