Go for flights. The best part is they whiskey and beer flights.Griddled beer bread with pimento cheese: The bread was so good, like buttered popcorn. They don’t know how to do pimento cheese right, though – not enough salt or mayo and the wrong cheese. Seems like they didn’t actually food processor it but just mixed shredded cheese with a spoon. The bread was better on its own.Scallop frise salad: clumsily compiled, one of those where you have to finish chopping it up yourself, and the flavors are fine together but don’t seem very purposefully combined. The little scallops had that fishy scallop taste that comes from having been frozen. Where Nobody Knows Your Name. The good- excellent selection of whiskeys, nice line up of on tap at a decent price.The middling- food was meh. Fried pickles were excellent, beer bread was basically toast on a plate, fish and chips were forgettable.The bad- seems you can’t get decent service if you aren’t on a first name basis with the bartenders. In the time it took to get the attention of a bartender, we saw regulars get drinks, refills, and food ordered and served. Not a welcoming atmosphere at all!
