Every time we passed by this place, we saw bowls that looked appealing we had to come in and try one of these bowls. So, we tried Vermicelli with grilled shrimps and we liked it. The place seems to have its own customers. It has a cozy venue too.
The food was not so tasty and a bit bland. It was all edible but nothing stood out and I don’t think I’ll go back again. The service was fine.
Ok for what it’s worth. It’s nice to have a Vietnamese restaurant nearby in Coolidge Corner. But that’s about the most positive thing I have to say about this place. The food isn’t necessarily bad, but it is not that authentic tasting. I am Vietnamese and just moved from a city with lots of Vietnamese restaurants…this is watered down Viet food, but it gets the job done. I’ve ordered a few dishes and while they haven’t been bad…they haven’t been great.
Broad menu, good food at reasonable prices. Their chicken and spinach soup is awesome.
