This place is right on Harvard Street. The interiors are cozy and comfortable. You will hear Bollywood music as soon as u step in.We ordered a Paneer Butter Masala and Veg Kadhai (both are served with rice) and butter naan. The Paneer Butter Masala was pretty good! We had asked for the Veg kadhai extra spicy , but sadly it wasn’t balanced..they had just added a lot more chilli powder. The rice was well cooked.Naan was great, very well prepared! We ordered a lassi which was good. The service was good and prompt.

My entire family and I went to Shan-a-Punjab for one of the many celebrations we had for my husband’s graduation from law school. It was too small of a restaurant to have too many people crammed in there, but the 6 of us fit! Parking was bad though. The food was really good and it came out quickly. From what i know about Indian food, it was spot on lamb curry. Not too spicy, and it tasted very authentic. They brought out some really cool thin crunchy crepe looking thing for an appetizer, and that was fun, but then we ordered some Naan with hummus and it was so delicious! I would go back just for that! Seriously. It wasn’t chewy at all, and it was warm and perfect for soaking up lamb curry sauce! They didn’t have ice for the drinks though, unfortunately. I would definitely go back here again!
