Epic bad service. We were seated easily on a Tuesday night as the place was not so busy. And then we were completely ignored. Not even someone to come take a drink order…or even wonder why we were sitting in their restaurant for that matter. There is no excuse for this as the place was not very busy. After 15 minutes of being totally ignored, my wife and I walked out. Unacceptable service guys….we will not go back out of principle.

Feast. Way before tapas became trendy…this place was a gem and remains so.
Romantic.. Passed this place many times and never noticed it. Dined here last night & impressed with my date’s choice – quite romantic. Great tempranillo. Sauteed spinach, Calamares rellenos, Albondigas de bacalao, flan — all good choices. I will definitely return to explore the rest of the menu.
Love it. This place is delicious. Very small and cozy restaurant. You may have to wait if you come on a Friday or Saturday night, but I highly recommend it. The sangria is delicious as well.
Bad Experience. Made to wait 50 minutes with a reservation (they blamed a single table of customers) and the staff bordered on rude during this time. It was so cold that we ate with our coats on. They were out of our first two choices of food. The shrimp were good, but the hen that we ordered had shards of chicken bone throughout. Unfortunately this was to be a birthday celebration with my family.
Consistently Delicious. Taberna has been around since before tapas was trendy and they consistently prove their expertise with the quality of their food. They give a complimentary serving of the best potato salad I have ever had and I don’t even like potato salad. The chicken dish is great, the fries are excellent, great vegetable sides. Taberna is a gem!
