Love the decor and atmosphere here. Feels like they try to compete as a five star restaurant. However my service was two stars and the food was 3 stars. Couldn’t eat the salad because it wasn’t cut up, so it was awkward finger food. The knives are too dull to touch it. The chocolate dessert was frozen in the center. This place has a bit of work to do!
Stopped in for drinks after work and stayed for dinner. The drink selection is excellent and the cocktails are great. Had the burger and it’s one of the better burgers I’ve had. And excellent fries. Finished with the chocolate cake, which I would definitely get again.
Classy place. The Bancroft is a high-end grill and probably one of the nicest places to dine in the area. It’s a bit pricey, but not really any more than some of the finer hotels in the area. The food quality was great, and the service was good. I’ll be back.
