Good solid all American food without the trendy add ons.
First place I ate at in Boston. What a welcoming! Gobbler sandwich consisting of turkey, apple stuffing, Cranberry sauce and gravy piled high on toast. Hush puppies on the side with a creamy horseradish sauce and an Arnold Palmer to wash it all down. Presentation and atmosphere cannot be beat! I’ll spread the word…. so should you.
Creative Sandwiches. Located on the corner of Cambridge St and Prospect St, All Star Sandwich is just that; sandwich but no wraps. You can find a good selection of gourmet sandwiches included the Atomic Meatloaf and Beef on Weck. Hamburgers and a larger menu selection is available after 3 pm. All sandwiches came with a side of cole slaw and a pickle spear. Specials adorn the walls as well as a list of drinks and catering options (party for drop-out is available). The bright colored walls matched the steel table tops that servers cleaned off before sitting the next group. One thing they do is keep things moving so you are not waiting too long for a table even if the line is out the door and bring sandwich quickly. The atmoic Meatloaf was a thick slice of homemade meatload with cheese and hot sauce. Beef on Weck is thinly sliced cuts of roast beef with white horseradish to one side and Real Au Jus to the other for dipping. Fresh hand cut fries are served up in a variety of ways. With jack cheese, you get a think layer of cheese over the shoe string style fries. The Fries from Hell features a doucing of Inner Beauty sauce which is made it very addicting. Parking was a problem but the service was great. Pricing is a little above what you would pay for your average sandwich but well worth it.
Big Fan. I’m a regular at All Star. The food and the staff are amazing, it’s inexpensive, the portions are big. I’m tempted to write a negative review to keep you guys away from my favorite spot, but the folks there are so talented and friendly, they deserve your business.

All star rocks… They gave a beef on weck that rivals any from the Midwest. I highly recommend this restaurant….
