Went here for late-night food. It was fine for what I was expecting but a little pricey $23 for two plates and an order of chips and salsa. I’ll likely be back if I’m wondering around the in the area again and the place next door isn’t open 🙂

Likeable Taqueria. Beantown Taqueria on Mass Ave is a mostly take-out joint with a smattering of tables. Decor is worn and grubby, but the food is flavorful and fresh. The posole (a classic chicken soup with hominy) was clean tasting and full of good stuff, but lacked much brothy depth. Chicken tinga enchiladas are nicely balanced with tomatillo sauce and chicken breast cooked with chiles. Chips are the real thing and everything I could see seemed made to order. Way above average, inexpensive and generous.

Not bad, but not the best. We enjoyed our taco trio dinner last night. The tacos were properly griddled soft corn, and contained a modest amount of well-seasoned filling with some spice to it. The beans were quite tasty and I enjoyed the jamaica which was not too sweet at all but still quite strong. Atmosphere is duly casual with a few sidewalk tables, and plenty of places to sit inside, and friendly young staff. Price was right, at $8 for a dinner plate. Not my favorite, but not disgraceful either, right about in the middle.

Omigod, a must for mexican food fans. This is the best mexican food to be found on the east coast! instead of mexico, just go here for the authentic food!

Excellent, tasty tacos. Nice to finally have an authentic & good quality taqueria in the central/mit/kendall area.
