Dante was enjoyable. The food was good. We both had Pasta w/Bolognese sauce. The pasta was al dente, as it should be. The sauce was savory, though slightly dominated by salt. For appetizers we had Brushetta & Calamari. Both were enjoyable. The Brushetta came with the tomato already on the toast. As a result, the toast was slightly soggy, though tasty. Our server was adequate. She didn’t offer fresh Parmesan cheese for our pasta until we were well into our meal. Overall, our experience was good.
Dante is located with the Royal Sonesta hotel. It is right on the river. The views from the outside seating are fantastic. I wasn’t really impressed with the food. The bruschetta was bland and the pasta seemed undercooked. This place is a bit pricy and I expected better.

The food is amazing, the service was perfect. being that my girlfriend and I are 27-28 years old we dont get the greatest treatment at any restaurant. the staff at dantes treated us as they would any other couple dining at their restaurant. we got a seat near the window overlooking the bay. the drinks were also perfect, not a complaint to be made about the place. it is an hour away from our house and we definitly plan on visiting again. great job, to the dantes crew!
