Cheap drinks, cheap eats make this poor girl happy indeed. Many mixed drinks are only $6! Dark and stormy. Do it. 1/2 price food happy hours are amazing (pretty much every food offering on the menu half off during certain times) and should be a more wide-spread practice in the Cambridge dining sphere. Not high-class cuisine by any means (pretty standard sandwiches, salads, etc), but edible nonetheless. What more do you want? The place can get pretty packed and is definitely not somewhere you go to relax or even be able to hear your friends clearly, but the atmosphere is lively and fun. Go down the stairs into Grendel’s Den and get happy.
Went for dinner boston marathon weekend 2015. The server was terrible. Everytime we asked for something its like she went away grumbling. I assume she owns the place and still likes to serve or save money on good servers. I was not impressed only my 3rd ever bad review.The mussels were great as appitizer, the pasta shells were over cooked and the chicken was boring and bland.I would suggest finding a differennt place. It is not somethjng you will say wow that was good. Cause ,It was bad.
