Harvest in Harvard Square is a very popular restaurant. The food is very good and the buzz of this place adds to the atmosphere. The porchetta was beautifully rich and flavoursome!
One of my very favorite restaurants in my hood, Harvard Square. Modern American food, and THE BEST desserts in the city (my favorite is the Taza chocolate cremeux). Harvest is perfect for a romantic night out, but I also like sitting at the bar for drinks and lighter fare. For dinner, their seafood dishes are always on point, and brunch is really nice too. confessionsofachocoholic.com

Very poor service . will not go back
Not exactly first class. Just visited Harvest with high expectations as the previous reviews declared its meals decidedly above average. But new American is more than local ingredients; there needs to be some creativity involved — some spontaneity, something different…My corn soup with crab and pickled chanterelles was tasty. A great end-of-summer treat. The saltiness of the mushrooms balanced the corn and crab sweetness. This is what I expected. But the duck. It was cooked fine, but over-seasoned. Much too salty. The bed of black forbidden rice upon which it sat was also too salty and lacked any real texture. The plums were a nice accent, but not ripe and (much to my canines’ chagrin) not fully pitted. I expected more for a $30 dollar entre. Service was attentive. The decor was uninspired.
