Disappointing. I’m from Melbourne, Australia, where we have a very high standard of Vietnamese food. I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this place, given the many positive reviews and awards it had received. How wrong I was.The noodles in the beef noodles dish was a big lump, as if it had just been throw in from the freezer and barely warmed up. The beef was very thickly cut.The soup was what one expect, and with little msg, but nothing spectacular. I ordered the Mung bean pancake but it came in the shape and form of an omelette. Apparently I had to go to the Dorchester branch to get the dish I expected. The green tea bubble tea was in the texture of a smoothie. The waiter explained that every joint made bubble tea differently and you couldnt expect the same. but comon, i know the difference between a smoothie and tea.

Solid. I like that the food is fresh and the service is quick and it’s affordable. When I lived in Boston this was a staple in my diet. Tons of vegetarian options.

Great Vietnamese place. While this seems like a hole in the wall (between a Subway and a Starbucks), it in the Harvard Garage, so many people walk by it. It has great food–large soup bowls, and great spring rolls. For vegetarians it offers lots of tofu dishes, but if you don’t like tofu, then there isn’t much else. The food was served very fast, and seemed quite authentic (though I wouldn’t really know). The servers were nice and very helpful (I asked what was in one of the sauces).Overall, for less than $10 per meal, this is great Vietnamese food.

The food was better when it was Pho Pasteur. Our spring rolls were just okay but the soft skin was too thick and sauce too diluted. The pho portions were generous but was not very tasty, I.e., the broth was not deep or rich enough. Prices were reasonable, but service was poor

Not for the gluten-free. I was told I could eat the soups, but that the rest of the menu was not available gluten-free. We left.

Yes. Yes. Yes.. I prefer this location much more than the one in Allston. Better, classier atmosphere. Definitely make a stop here after a day of shopping, it will be just what you need. Affordable and filling, it will satisfy that urge you have for some amazing Vietnamese.

Serviceable Bun but no atmosphere. Le’s has none of the charm you’d expect from a Vietnamese restaurant (tables with numbers on them, squeeze bottles of sauces, and unintelligible menus) but the food is good enough. The grilled shrimp bun lacked the level of char that I wanted, but the shrimp were large enough and the bun was OK. I’ll be back, but I don’t see myself falling in love with the place or its food. It’s open till 11 on the weekends, which is a bonus.
