My first time at a Taiwanese restaurant and I must say, it was definitely a pleasant experience. In terms of choices, there are so many and you are almost spoilt for choices I’d say! 🙂 The spice level is slightly on the lower side, even on their most ‘spicy’ dishes. The spring rolls are something that stood out for me apart from the pan-fried noodles. It is definitely worth a shot I’d say. The place where this loses out on the 5th star is in terms of the taste may be (Could’ve been slightly stronger in spice and stuff). Price-4/5 Taste-3/5 Service-5/5 Ambience-4/5

Not A Fan!. Not wowed by this food at all, I don’t see what all the hype is about, the set up in the restaurant is terrible (major expansion required), and the waitresses in this establishment need to learn some serious English skills.

Very Good. Great place. Friendly with kids – wonderful food, reasonably priced.

Good Chinese food for a reasonable price. Not sure it’s really Taiwanese though. Our favorites were the eggplant dish, crispy deepfried minced beans on soft tofu, and sour veggie and sliced pork soup.

Worst Taiwanese Food in the City. If you want AUTHENIC Taiwanese cuisine, this is definitely NOT your choice. The restaurant is not even ran by Taiwanese people. My husband and I ordered the most common Taiwanese dishes, including minced meat on rice, beef noodles and pan fried dumplings, and none were even closed to remarkable. They dare served the minced meat on rice cold! I had to ask them to bring it back in to microwave. It is one of the easiest thing to make, and they still messed it up. And service? Is there even service there? We actually had to get up from our table to ask them to come over both times to order and to get the bill. If you want real Taiwanese food, I suggest going a little farther and try Wisteria on Cambridge St, or even better in Boston called Jo Jo Taipei on Brighton.

Great food, average service. My mom thought this place was pretty good (for Chinese food in America) and that’s high praise from this Asian mother. Try the house fish special, chili lamb, or string beans. The place is usually full of the same people who like their food authentic. Service isn’t the greatest, but the food is cheap and good, so there’s plenty of substance even if it’s lacking in style.
