High variety of hot/cold drinks as well as cakes and some pastry. I ordered a Chai Latte and couldn’t have been happier with it – it’s really really good here. This is a nice place, with some tables outside where you can sit and enjoy Harvard’s daily life or even its calm night life. And the people there were incredibly nice! Their good energy was contagious and I felt very welcomed in this coffee shop.

If you want a quick coffee, what do you do?Hop into Peet’s. Wanting to be a bit adventurous, I tried the Havana capuccino. I have never had it before. It had an interesting sweeter taste. Good coffee. Try it!

A small and lesser known chain but with some great coffees and teas and in terms of Quality its Far Far superior than Starbucks. You have a good selection of freshly roasted beans–both Arabicas and Robustas .From Ethiopia to Colombia,Javas and Blue Mountains. You can blend your own as well as take some beans home! Ambience is warm friendly ,from students to professors and tourists .The service is great and the baristas as chirpy as the espresso machines!!!. A selection of yummy cookies etc is also on the card–but then its Pete’s Coffee that Not to be missed. Strongly suggest to take home some great beans. You’ll be hooked.

Great location on the square and you get an hour free wifi with your coffee, which is appreciated. However, as often happens in the US with espresso, the milk was a little burnt and so was the coffee. A little restraint and a move away from the culture of ultra hot coffee would make Peet’s even better.

  • Andarc

Nicer alternative to Starbucks, as the coffee is less burnt.
