Zoe’s is one of the more spacious restaurants in Harvard Square (actually Putnam Square). The food is okay dinner food, with a little Greek influence. However, their fried chicken is the best around. A whole half chicken/half whole chicken with a delicious crispy batter. A guilty pleasure or pleasurably guilty I can’t say, but maybe once every couple of years I will indulge.

It is illegal for to ask for tips. I payed my Bill and on my way out the waitress stopped us and asked for a tip. That was rude and not riright. No one is obliged to leave tips so don’t do it again. ..
Reliable. What makes a restaurant good? You eat there, you enjoy it and you go back.Zoe’s may call itself Greek and the ancestry may be there, but coming from a Greek neighbourhood, Zoe’s is far removed. It is just a good diner with reliable honest food with a few Greek style dishes.Greek = dolmas, dips and pitas, souvlaki,Greek salad minus the lettuce and the honey, phyllo style deserts such as baklava, galaktoboureko.Love you Zoe, regular American food is what you do well. Quality is there, keep it up.
Not very impressed. Went in on a slow Sunday evening and ordered a house specialty (lamb kabob cooked medium) The lamb was way over done and very dry. That was the only order in the kitchen at the time.
Surprisingly Well Priced. I was very surprised at the prices of Zoe’s breakfast – very affordable, especially for Boston/Cambridge.The place was packed on a Sunday morning, but the line moves very quickly. The food was delicious, especially after a night of drinking. The atmosphere is loud, but fun.I would definitely go back here.
Huge portion and cheap. Food was good, just like any other neighborhood diner.
