Came in last night with a group of friends. Place was jammed and a lot of fun. Great vibe, food was amazing (I recommend the Stombolis off the fall specials they have going on right now). Drinks were great. They have a good selection of craft beers too. Our bartender was telling us about the promos they have during the week, so we will most definitely be back!!!
Excellent Atmosphere for a Casual Get Together. I hosted 7 of my former co-workers for a casual get together, Rather than meet at restaurant for just a meal, I wanted to do something different to make the evening a little more special and memorable. Why not combine bowling with some fine beverages and food. Well the evening was a huge success. Everyone had a great time. The beverages, the food and especially the service was outstanding. The price was reasonable. Everyone had such a fantastic time that we plan to make this an annual event.
This place ROCKS!! I came in with my girlfriend and were instantly greeted by an army of smiles welcoming us to Kings. The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant to interact with. We walked up to the host desk and the young man at the counter greeted us and Ask how are night was going as well as asked us if we planning on bowling tonight. Of course thats why we came to Kings! He had informed us of the wait which long and signed us up on the bowling list. He continued to let us know about all the activities Kings has to offer that was available at the moment. We decided to wait anyways and ended up sitting at the bar and ordering some apps and drinks while waiting to bowl. The food was better than expected, didn’t feel like I was at a bowling alley. We got called to bowl while we were still eating and the bartender grabbed all I our plates without hesitation and brought them right to our assigned lane. I was so blown away from the service and all of the staff, we returned the very next day with another couple! This place ROCKS!!
Really cool place. I came to Kings after work last week and was very pleased with my experience. The atmosphere has a cool retro vibe and I was surprised by how lively it was on a Monday night. Kings may be a bowling alley, but you definitely cant tell by the food. I had the California burger which was excellent, and the service was also surprisingly good. The drinks are pretty decent too. I had a gummy bear-tini which was interesting and two of my coworkers shared a fish bowl. My only complaint would be the long wait for a lane after we finished dinner. They had a stump trivia game going on while we were waiting that I guess happens every Monday so were definitely going to try to sign up for that next time. I recommend Kings if youre looking for something different to do.
Great place. I did a last minute event for some friends and the staff was super helpful and did an amazing job making this fun for everyone. The food took a little longer to come out than we anticipated, but it was on a Friday night so I should have expected that. Great night overall
Will not be returning…. I’ve been here twice.Once when it first opened. Not a horrible experience if you don’t mind it being super loud and very expensive drinks and appetizers.Went here a second time after having dinner with some friends nearby. It was about 10pm. I hadn’t been drinking at all, and I was refused entrance because the doorman said i stumbled when I walked up to the door. So my friends bowled without me to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I WILL NOT be returning to this place. Why don’t YOU try walking perfectly in ladies shoes!!I also heard a story from someone else where they wouldn’t admit a gentleman with cerebral palsy because he ‘appeared to have been drinking’. jeez!seems i only hear bad things about this place and their staff.
King Nothings. Crowded, noisy, overpriced in dedham… much better alternatives in the area
