Upscale Cuisine. I’m disclosing up front the fact that I’m a regular patron of The Midway. Having said that, I experienced the ultimate culinary dish this weekend. It was a parmesan encrusted boneless pork loin that had a south of the border dry rub as well. The pork was so moist and could be cut with a fork, and left me with a myriad of interesting flavors on my taste buds. The dish included wonderful green beans and tiny roasted potatoes. This entree rivals anything you might find in world renoun restaurants. I’ve included a photo.
Scrumptious american food!. My kids and I really enjoy the Midway, we always get Chicken Fingers and Burgers, with thick cheese sauce on the side to dip everything in. Sometimes if I go for lunch with a friend (sans children) then we’ll have some fun playing Keno during our time there (it’s like Megabucks every 10 minutes!) The prices are really reasonable too, which is one reason I’ve always found that if you find a restaurant that is popular with the older crowd, it usually has good food cheap! The waitstaff is nice, I’ve never had any problems to complain about. In fact, I would highly recommend their custom bottled Raspberry Lime Rickeys!
Interesting Decor. You should go to this place for the decor alone… it reminds me of a 1970’s lounge, something Quincy might go to. The food is pretty good. They make an excellent pot roast and a really good fish sandwich and its not expensive.
