So, I heard this place had gotten better with new owners. Yeah, still nor overly impressed. I had clam chowder and swordfish. One person in our party had fried clams which they really enjoyed. I will say this, if you can sit out on the patio it is a beautiful view.
Absolutely unbelievable GET OUT NOW OR I AM CALLING THE POLICE!!A friend told me there was good live entertainment at the Swan River Restaurant on Thursday I was not familiar with the restaurant so I went on line and read reviews that varied from terrible to wonderful. So much for reviews. I decided best approach was to go see for myself so I made that my destination for lunch. I ordered a glass of wine and the raw seafood sampler. Both on the pricy side but as expected. For lunch I was interested in the fried scallops but instead of price on the menu, it said market I asked the waitress and she told me $10 Great I put in my order. The food was completely as expected good. But when I got the bill it had the scallops at $18.95 I questioned my server because she had told me $10. She replied that she thought I asked the price of scrod First thing, scrod does not sound much like scallops secondly, the price of the scrod was clearly shown on the menu as $10 so why would I have a question? Regardless, I told her I felt I was being overcharged. She got the manager. The hostilities began! The woman presenting herself as the owner said she would correct the price to $10 but she brought her husband into the discussion and ordered me to leave now or she would call the police!! Get out now or I am calling the police!! So much for the customer being right. I will NEVER go there again. BTW, I am 73, widowed and I eat most meals at local restaurants. But I have NEVER had an experience like this!

The restaurant is good but nothing extraordinairy. The bar is real nice. The fish monger is our daily stop.
Great SEAFOOD!. Had a great night there when my nephew had this rehearsal dinner there last year. Staff was a ton of fun and the food was so much better than what we were served at the wedding the next night at a different function hall. But we had lobsters which were huge and buttery and delicious. Be back this summer as a regular for sure.
Great Swordfish!!. Went there over the summer and loved everything! Staff was nice and what a view! Breathtaking. I had the swordfish and it was truly the best piece of fish Ive ever had. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Had one of the worst meals ever at this place! Great location, horrible food.
