It saddens my heart to known RACISM is alive and kicking in some of these Boston establishments. Never go to the FREEPORT TAVERN on Morrissey Boulevard. In the past I have been here a few times without any issues. Long story short I disputed my bill because it was incorrect. My coworker left early and paid a portion of the bill, however the waitress did not deduct it and she added an item on the bill that no one ordered. When I spoke to the manger and waitress they were very rule and nasty. The two bartenders became combative and were talking shit behind the bar. I kindly gave the manger, waitress and bartenders a piece of my mind. The manger finally deducted the amounts off the bill. As I walked back to my table, the manger called security and a police officer to escort us out. I dont have an issue with race, but all of the individuals involved where white. You have the right to dispute your bill in any establishment without drama.The FREEPORT Tavern on 780 William T Morrissey Blvd, Dorchester, MA 02122 is a disgrace to our beautiful city of Boston. Places like this need to be shut down. The staff is unprofessional and racist. I regret inviting people to this place and spending money here. Life is too short and nothing is ever guaranteed. Boston has way better establishments that treat their customers with respect and dignity. Do not ever go here!!!!!!!!!!
