Good Lao food! The tapioca balls app was a new one for us, a texture not typical of most food in the US, the balls were a bit gooey, slimy and chewy, yet filled with pork filling and served with lettuce for wrapping and a nice dipping sauce. The beef jerky was warm, thing and flavorful, again, outside a typical westerners norm for a sit down meal, but tasty. The Nam Khao Tod was very good. The rice was crispy and flavorful, with lots of sour pork sausage and bits of peanuts and coconut. This too is served with lettuce and cilantro, along with deep fried dried chiles to kick it up! The only thing missing was some extra lime to squeeze over it? Nonetheless, our waiter was helpful and warned us the portions were large so we didn’t order an entree each, and he was right, we shared the rice and took home an equal amount. Thumbs up!
