I had dinner here tonight while staying at the hotel. I would normally have ventured out to one of my local favourite places but it was a long day. Thus, I am the captive audience others have mentioned. Originally encouraged by the host to sit at the bar, I complied only to discover no seat at the bar. They have a secondary bar area which is the bartenders’ responsibility but you’re obligated to make your way to the bar to order. Honestly it’s not a good set up. To the credit of the manager he saw me, thought I might be ticked about it (I wasn’t) and moved me to a table. Marks for caring enough to check. And the waitress was pleasant too. From an atmosphere perspective it’s nice enough – dark woods, lots of Windows and light provided by the lobby. Lots of TVs too, if you’re looking to watch the game.At the recommendation of other reviewers I ordered pizza, and observed that generally the menu is overpriced for pub food, although within typical range for a hotel restaurant, especially near a major airport. The pizza was good, not great. There are better in East Boston, but again I chose convenience so I don’t get to complain about it. By the way, the manager brought it to my table as the server was busy. That guy gets top marks. Here is the bottom line – this is one of the better airport hotel restaurant experiences I’ve had. If I’m comparing it to some of the great places I’ve been to in East Boston or Back Bay, it doesn’t measure up. That said, in a major city like Boston that’s a big ask. I think the criticism by others here is a little unfair. It’s not bad. But it should be understood that you are paying a premium for convenience so be reasonable in your expectations. I’d come here again.

Poor service. Good is good but way over priced. You can call in an order for take out you must either order IN the Resturant and wait for ever or have to eat in. Poor slow service everytime.

Food wasn’t bad, but typical hotel and airport food. Nothing great and way overpriced for what you get. Get something in the terminal before or after you flight instead, you’ll pay a lot less for same level of food.

Better to be hungry. I have ordered two sandwiches here and that was too many. Notable for the absence of flavor. The bun is a step below a mass-produced grocery store variety. Perhaps get the fruit. I will not be back.

The worst customer service I have ever received. The bar tender did not want to serve me a beer. He wanted me to wait for a wait staff, this is after waiting ten minutes with absolutely no one stopping by our table to see if we needed anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Service was lacking and the food was not good. Chowder was more expensive than the stellar chowders at union oyster house and legal seafood.

I read the negative reports on this place. Is it expensive? Yes, for pub food. But no more than I would expect to pay in a four star hotel located right in the middle of one of the major airports in the USA. I followed the advice of another critic and ordered the Pizza. Fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and a crispy thin crust. Delicious! Washed down with two glasses of delicious house Pinot Noir. I left there impressed with the food, the wine and the service and will eat there again whenever I stay at BOS
