Not Fancy but Simple and Good. Terrific and spacious diner adjacent to the Orient Heights T stop. We sat at the counter and had a generous breakfast of crispy bacon, chocolate chip waffles and apple pancakes. Excellent coffee and super cold orange juice. Very kid friendly just like most of Eastie and plenty of street parking which is a rarity. Are you going to find heirloom tomatoes and brioche french toast? No, and I’m perfectly okay with that since the South End is a short T ride away.

Great!. Donna’s is simply wonderful. My youngest daughter loved it, my oldest son loved it (i am a mother of six!) and all of them between have nothing but good to say. Donna is very kind, and the staff who bring the drinks and menus are EXTREMELY kind. I do consider my family and I a regular in Donna’s. The only flaw I have to admit is how hot it can get in the summer. If Donna’s had AC, I would call it 100% FLAWLESS.
