Great Views and Service. The Harborside Grill and Patio at the Hyatt shows that American hotels are clearly stepping up their game – the views out towards the Boston skyline are breathtaking and the glass curtain wall takes maximum advantage of this. The weather on our visit was bleak, cold, and rainy, otherwise we would have been seated on the gorgeous patio around one of the firepits, but sitting inside at a black marble communal table was still quite nice. We opted for just appetizers to accompany our drinks — grilled bourbon chili wings which were tasty but not very spicy at all, a forgettable fried calamari, some slightly overdone potstickers, and a truly fantastic and addictive flatbread with pears and arugala. The drink prices were in line with what you’d pay elsewhere in Boston, around $10-12 for a cocktail, and service was smooth and efficient. Arrive in style by taking the express water taxi from downtown, then enjoy a leisurely 20 minute walk back to Maverick Station around the Harborwalk East.
