STAY AWAY…waste of time and effort. Ordered from there for delivery. 7 phone cslls and 2 hours after making the for delivery to arrive and they tried to charge me 60 dollars for 2 noodle dishes and 2 spring rolls. Food was cold and told them they could keep their cold crappy food..and ordered pizza. They ruined our delivery night and want to avoid this happening to you as well.
I’ve eaten at EVERY Vietnamese restaurant in the Boston area and NONE come close to this place as one of the most flavorful, freshest, & creative menu’s I’ve ever experienced. I’m almost reluctant to write this review at the risk of blowing East Boston’s BEST KEPT SECRET. But the chef/ owner is such a great guy, I just couldn’t resist! John LaPlaca of RealtyVentures Inc.
Loved their beef noodle soup !! The seafood pho soup was good as well
Sharp New Location. The owner of the original Saigon Restaurant, where the food was always fantastic but the atmosphere was a little gritty has relocated to this new spot opposite the rebuilt Orient Heights T station – it is bright, airy, beautiful inside, with the same low prices, and some new menu items, including fantastic banh mi sandwiches ($4.95) in all varieties. We stopped in for two large steaming bowls of their pho, a Vietnamese rice noodle soup usually prepared with different cuts of beef cooked in the hot broth for just $8.95. The place is BYOB too. Don’t miss out on the Luc Lac, one of Vietnam’s most famous beef dishes.
