If you want top quality seafood perfectly prepared THIS is the place. We stayed in Edgartown early July and ate here 4 times. We stopped by once more just for their famous heavenly Pavlova dessert made by their Aussie pastry chef(married to the head chef). We tried several different menu items-all seafood and were never disappointed. My particular favorite was the scallops w the row still attached. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and helpful. We tried several other restaurants in E town and none could compare to Port hunter(except Atria upstairs). We were astounded that so many of the other places serve non local previously frozen seafood. Perhaps they think tourists from away don’t know the difference. We are from Maine and like our seafood fresh and prepared properly. That’s why we recommend Port Hunter so highly!
