Fresh ice cream, fresh whipped cream, real cherry on top! We came here on a friend’s recommendation and thought it was delicious! I had strawberry ice cream with strawberry topping and fresh whipped cream. My husband had the cookie dough with chocolate syrup and marshmallow. Both were sooooo good!
Standard.. Typical homemade ice cream shop, similar in style to most dotting the Cape Cod (and New England for that matter) landscape. Open later hours, large assortment of both ice cream and frozen yogurt flavors.Overall a good place for ice cream, though by far not the best on the Cape (despite the crowds). Sizes are smaller than many of it’s homemade rivals, favorite regional flavors (black raspberry, in particular) are noticeably less rich and intense, though satisfactory.If you’re willing to drive, go to Sundae School in Harwich, or Ben and Bill’s Chocolate Emporium in downtown Falmouth, for the ultimate in Cape Cod homemade ice cream culture. However if not, Smitty’s is always a countable bet.Justin Lee justineats.com
