Not a good experience. Despite being situated in the heart of the Financial District, this faux-bro Irish-ish ‘lounge’ is really more of a pub with a patio than anything else. They get kudos for having some decent beers on tap, but their menu is tired and sorely in need of updating. The chili had some spice to it, but unfortunately also had beans (chili shouldn’t ever have beans unless you’re at a vegetarian restaurant) and the cocktails were served warm in plastic cups. Suffice to say there are better options nearby.
Nice pizza. Tonight I ordered the pizza with pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, red bell peppers, and onions. Crispy, smokey, chewy, cheesy and all that you’d expect from a neighborhood bar/pub. Wednesday night and the bar was packed, so I’ll be back to see what else they offer on the menu.
