Fresh, quite tasty and not too greasy Chilean sandwiches. I’m not sure how they reflect the original, since it’s been my first experience with the cuisine of this country. In any event, I’d visit them again: the beef sandwich is a good alternative to a burger or some other fast food, and the avocado sauce as a base with boiled beans out inside give it a nice twist. I also enjoyed the opportunity to refresh my Spanish while talking with their friendly staff, willing to shed more light on the Chilean cuisine for tourists.

Quite simple one of the…. Quite simply one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I normally do not go to restaurants twice visiting a city, but I had to stop here for lunch again!

Hidden jem. Best sandwich spot in Boston.

Best Schopera in Boston!. I’ve been eating Chacarero since they were just a food cart outside Jordan Marsh, wayback when. I saw them upgrade to a take-out window a few yards from that original location, and now a full service restaurant! The spicy, meaty, overstuffed sandwich with its distinctive warm, fresh-baked Chilean bread is unique and addictive. Although you can customize your sandwich to leave out various ingredients, I’ve always gotten mine ‘all the way’, loving the playful crunch of the green beans with the succulent bite of the grilled beef, and sweating my way through the very spicy sauce, moderated just slightly by the creamy housemade avocado sauce.
