I love this place. I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years and every time I am in Boston I make a point of hitting it at least twice. The golden buns (steamed or fried) are excellent and the clams in black bean sauce they have on special are a crowd favorite. A meal wouldn’t be complete without several orders of the Steak Teriyaki for the table. I can eat plates of this by myself. I also really enjoy the chicken and pineapple fried rice. Don’t be put off by the exterior or the look of the fish tanks. Venture inside and discover a true gem of Boston’s Chinatown!!!
Genuine Chinese cuisines! The place is nicely lit, pretty crowded, tolerably noisy and spacious. Our Chinese colleagues helped us to decide the menu to the perfection. The food was very good. Although we went little overboard with our orders and struggled to finish the dishes. The whole array of dishes included beef, lobsters, crab, chicken and tofu. It was an overwhelming experience with a very differenttaste of Chinese dishes what we normally experience in India. An experience which I can savour long!
Good service, average food. We ordered the lobster, a tofu dish and a fish stir fry. The servings were quite substantial…. Your typical foreign Chinese food I suppose….definitely not the best Chinese food I’ve had though.
Fabulous!!! Order the big oysters (you won’t be disappointed!), salty calamari appetizer is my favorite thing of all, then with the entrees you can’t go wrong. Be creative, try lots of new dishes- especially the seafood is the best I have had in Chinatown!
This is a pretty damn good Chinese resturant, and I’ve actually been to China. The dishes tasted excellent, and they are heavy on the Ginger. Of course you know the seafood is fresh, like resturants in China, the seafood is in tanks near the front. I’d give it a 8.5 out of 10.
