House of tidy pastry.. The pastry here has this amazing neatness about it – crisp edges, paper wrapping, clean, orderly ornamentation and a taste that matches. I particularly like their sponge cake, which tastes of little but vanilla and fresh egg.
Great for quick bite–breakfast & snack. As of 4/08: at least they don’t set me off as Bao Bao Bakery. great hangout joint for the elderly in the morning–the two minutes you spend in ordering your breakfast, you’ll get a first-hand peek into the lives of these aged first-generation immigrants. 1/10: used to love their egg & ham buns. but didn’t find it the same last month i went. what happened to their thick layer of silky egg??? that one was dry and skimpy. so sad.:)
