One of my favourite lunch places when I was working back in downtown Boston. Very plump wantons and nice roasted duck. Place is also quite spacious here for group lunch.

Great food, great service. Well, the servers recognize my father and he’s on first name terms with them, so off the bat I’m obligated to like the restaurant. I do complain about coming here too often since it’s kind of cramped (yeah…my dad ALWAYS comes here whenever we go to Chinatown) but really the food is amazing and inexpensive. Plus the service is quick and excellent, and there’s this counter at the front where my dad orders meat every time we come.
Quick cheap eats, had better. During my trip to Boston, I was craving some roast pork and duck and decided to pop in for a bite. It was just me so I didn’t mind sharing a table and the food came really quickly (I had the roast pork and BBQ duck lai fan – thicker vermicelli noodles) and also pork and shrimp soup dumplings. I found that the dumplings had an aftertaste of tea – indicative that they didn’t wash their dishes well. Also the roast pork and BBQ were really dry and tough. Went to Vinh Sun a couple days later and it was night and day. Would recommend you go half a block to Vinh Sun instead.
Real Chinese food. Inexpensive and authentic. The dumplings are outstanding and the rice plates with chicken, duck or pork are well-prepared. Try the salt and peppered shrimp with or without the heads. I love this restaurant and after over 50 visits I know it’s consistently delicious.
