Perfectly find place for after work drinks in Seaport. Would go there to watch a Red Sox game or grab appetizers/dinner as well. Definitely don’t try to go out here as it’s generally just people standing around the giant bar holding their drinks are chatting. Great view of the Harbor though.
Great family option at Boston Seaport. Walked to restaurant from the Westin and we were glad we did. It is really loud, but everything else about this place was great. Service was excellent, variety of menu was good, and our food was great. Best value place in the neighborhood.
Nevers again!. I am 46 years old and from Canada, last night me and 2 off my older friends wanted to go out for a drink and have diner. Has soon as we walked in the door we were asked to show ID, so I showed my Canadien drivers licence only to be told buy the most obnoxious person I have ever met that I needed a passport to drink in this establishment. I can understand that their might be rules that I am not aware off but their is ways to talk to customers. So if you are not from Boston and are in the seaport area, my recommendation is dont even consider this place! On the other hand, we walked next door to Legal Harborside and were treated very well and ad a very good meal and drinks.
THE WORST. Honestly the worst service I’ve ever seen in my life. Waitstaff was rude and inconsiderate… Absolutely miserable experience. Go next door to legals, del friscos or temazcal, all which have great serivice. Never experienced anything like this in my life. I would avoid this place at ALL COSTS.
Why bother.. Rude, crude, unfriendly. That’s the staff… The food and drinks are just as bad. Don’t waste your time.
Three thumbs down. I saw all the people and wondered why it had bad reviews online. I soon found out. The hostess told us it would be an hour and a half wait and we had to tell her 3 times that it was okay and put our name down. It took 10 minutes. Food was mediocre at best. I was told by the waitress when I got the food that it was most likely going to be wrong. It was. I ordered the jalapeno burger and got a plain cheeseburger. I couldn’t even get the jalapeno burger apparently and just got a free not so good, cold cheeseburger. They had major issues in the kitchen and the waitress didn’t even try or care about making it right. I will never go back there.
Not a good fit for the Waterfront. We had a couple of hours to kill before putting our college-age son on the train. My wife wanted to go to the Barking Crab but I thought we could do better. I have been next door to LTK, Temazcal and Legal Seafoods and liked them all. Jerry Remy’s had to be good right? Not so. Service was adequate and pleasant but the kitchen was slow for 5pm. The Vidalia onion rings appetizer was good. The kids had burgers and those were fine for $11. My wife’s caprese salad sandwich sounded good but didn’t taste good at all, especially for $14. My buffalo chicken salad sandwich was meh if it was $8 but it was $13. Dcor was very nice and there’s lots of glass for looking out into the harbor. Lots of TVs to carry games but no sound to go along due to tunes playing. Music selection was poor, volume too loud and sound system not the highest quality making it worse. We ate inside near the men’s room and the poseurs that would come swaggering up were ridiculous. They’re going to have to change something quickly to stay in business. Either that or they’re happy with the Jersey Shore lowlifes that seem to frequent there. For pub grub, stick to the Crab, Whiskey Priest or Atlantic Beer Garden nearby. We won’t go back and won’t recommend to friends.
