Amazing!. I love this place! I always get the surf and turf with extra salmon and rib eye. Sadly, I have moved to Texas and have yet to find a hot pot place as delicious as Kaze. When I visit MA I always schedule in a visit to Kaze though! Two thumbs up!

A great dining experience! My favorite is the kimchi soup base. I can’t wait to go again!

Good Quality, Slightly Slow Service. We had an extended shabu-shabu dinner here last night – the shabu area upstairs is clean, sleek, and quite modern. Even though I’ve had shabu before, and am familiar with the concept of getting a hot bowl of bubbling flavored broth to cook our meat, seafood, and vegetables, I was still a little confused by the structure of the menu and the servers were not much help. Very friendly but not eager to jump in and make suggestions!I ordered the meat lovers combo – a huge platter of thinly sliced raw beef, all different cuts, which comes with the usual platter of watercress (yum!), turnip, spinach, and other vegetables, plus an assortment of bowls of condiments. For the soup base, we ordered a divided bowl (great idea) of the somewhat spicy Thai broth and the VERY spicy Korean kimchi broth. Both were excellent, if you like spice. The seafood platter that our guest ordered looked fantastic, with tiny baby clams perched in their shells, alongside incredibly fresh calamari, giant shrimp and sweet sea scallops. Service throughout the meal was just a little slow – unusually long pauses waiting for drink refills, for example. It didn’t bother us at all, since we weren’t in a hurry, but it was a slight distraction.

(review dated 12/07):my parents went once and came back w/complaints. something about their service, small portion at cheating price, or unfresh food. (sorry can’t remember now it’s been too long).i always like doing shabu-shabu at home anyway, that way i get everything i want, plus i can get double the food at half the price, minus all the poor service.:)
