Had a really good raspberry mule with pan seared cod. Service was great and the food was done well. This was pricey and not quite as good as some of the local restaurants but overall the chain seems to be pretty consistent.

July 21, 2014 2:40 pm reque…. July 21, 20142:40 pm requested an outside table after viewing the multiple empty ones -feel this was not an outrageous request -the response was anything but cordial or professional-one inept hostess sought the advice of another & made the executive decision to deny me -a sole potential customer of sitting at a table for four -after proceeding to depart this very unwelcoming chain restaurant -headed over to THE SALTY DOG -dined on fresh jumbo shrimp appetizer & an amazing swordfish sandwich -ine hour after this walked by M&S -witnessed hostess sitting 2 persons at a large table -restaurant still relatively empty -no doubt business is not booming!

I had the Kobe Burger with onion rings on top. At best I would rate it as an average meal. We also had the McCormick cheeseburger and the calamari . They also were rated as average at best. Getting a table was slow around lunchtime but once we got the table the food came fast. I’d rate the restaurant a 6.5 out of 10.

Should have known better. Yes it was a first time trip to Boston. And yes we accidently ended up at the end of the day in the Quincy Fishmarket area and didn’t want to drive another mile or walk another minute. We were tired. So we picked what we thought might be the best restaurant in the area for a nice dinner. What an expensive mistake! My daughter and I were taken up to an almost empty dining room with dirty windows with bar/kitchen sounds close by. We had 4 – 5 different waiters who were all very friendly but it stilled seemed like the service in this upstairs room was an afterthought with whomever was available being sent for a quick look. As far as the food goes, if I come out of a restaurant having paid over $100 (including two glasses of o.k. wine) I would like to have really enjoyed the experience. The food was mediocre at best including the seafood dishes we ordered – sorry, it was so unmemorable that I don’t remember much besides some dry salmon I had – and I won’t visit one of these restaurants anywhere I come across one ever again!

After waiting about about an hour for food, the two of us finally gave up. We went next door at Quincy Market and had something within a few minutes. McCormick wasn’t busy, but they clearly weren’t in the mood to provide reasonable service.
