Needed a taco fix and we had walked by here before. We started with the endless chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and flavorful. I love they serve their chips warm and seasoned. The pazole was really good with the perfect amount of spice. Loved the duck taco the best. Great flavor and really liked the crunch. The shrimp and carnitas tacos were really good too! We will be coming back!Btw, don’t bother with the cheeseburger taco!
Food was absolutely fantastic. Nachos, fish tacos and Chicken quesadillas. Best I’ve ever had.
DO NOT GO. WORST PEOPLE . Leave ASAP
Had a horrible experience there. Got my order wrong the first time around and found a piece of paper/receipt in my food the second time around. Told the manager about these problems and she didn’t seem to care and did not offer any kind of compensation. Service was bad, the food took forever and we didn’t get refills for our water even though one of the waitresses serving another table was walking around with a water pitcher. Overpriced for mediocre food and awful service.
Sadly Disappointing. It isn’t often that my husband and I head to Fanueil Hall to dinner, usually it is the North End however we were looking for something different and this place looked great, even saw some decent reviews online. Much like some of the other reviews I have seen on here, this is how I break it down:Service – meh. Waitress was very nice but very clueless. Felt bad for her. Screwed up beer order, pushed the tequila too much. Food – Bad. Chips too salty (and I love chips). Queso dip in the trio was like Ortega from a bottle and this was also smothered on my husband’s enchilada. Very disappointing dinners all around.Atmosphere – really nice – just get some new cooks!
Terrible drinks. Terrible management and even worse doormen/host/hostess. The staff and management failed to follow through with a party which was book weeks in advance but even worse failed to handle the situation appropriately. It doesn’t matter how cheap your tacos are or how many different kinds of tequila you serve, if you treat your customers poorly you will lose said customers. I suggest this restaurant get some fresh, well trained and experienced staff members in here and fast. The drunken college kids who don’t care about service are only in Boston for a couple more months and I predict that’s when you lose your business for good.
Terrible service — avoid, avoid, avoid. I’m extremely disappointed in the poor service we received this weekend. I and a large group of friends attended your bar under the impression that we would be attending a party and we would not have to pay cover. While I understand that things were busy because of the early St Patty’s crowd, Brooke should have communicated that the promised party (and no cover charge) would not be in effect.Brooke has handled this very avoidable situation terribly. She offered a $50 gift card to the party’s organizer or a ‘special’ meal (not a complimentary meal). Based on past experience, I highly doubt that either of these options would ever materialize.People make mistakes. However, how you apologize is what differentiates your establishment from others. Your apathetic attitude and lack of effort to correct your mistake are quite appalling. I will not come to your bar again.
