Absolutely Delicious. I dropped in during a recent trip to Boston on the recommendation of a colleague and it did not disappoint! For an appetiser, I had Buffalo Chicken Ravioli – what a great twist on a typical pub favorite! Fried ravioli’s stuffed with buffalo chicken lying in a light drizzle of buffalo sauce with a side of bleu cheese. This was my favorite dish during my week-long trip. I then had the Tenderloin Gorgonzola, which also did not disappoint. Very tender, very juicy steak atop lightly grilled squash and potatoes. I will definitely visit Salvatore’s next time I’m in Boston – and I’ll be hard-pressed not to order the same thing! diningoutdfw.com

DeLISH!. This place was fabulous. Looked it up on-line before arriving in Boston and the menu looks great so we decided to give it a shot. Boy o Boy was that a great choice on our part. We started out with fried calamari as an appetizer and it did not disappoint! As a family we love calamari and I would have to say it was the best I have had in many years…light and crispy and yummy! For dinner I had a pasta special (with fresh grape tomatoes and pancetta) my husband had the steak with melted gorgonzola in a port wine reduction both were awesome. My son had the chicken parm (which he eats ALL THE TIME) and said it was probably the best he ever had and my daughter had the broccoli and chicken alfredo which was to die for! The portions were huge and we took the leftovers from 3 of the 4 entrees and they were just as good the second day! The service was great…seated right away (with no reservation) felt well taken care of and never felt rushed to finish out meal. would most definitely go back on our next trip to Boston!

Great atmosphere, fabulous pizza. I had the Calabria, the one with figs. I will come here again!

Yum!. Food is very, very good. Maybe a little overpriced. The bread is delicious as well as the cesear salad and butternut squash ravioli. My friend loved her meal as well. Pastas are homemade and very tasty. The one glaring problem with the restaurant is the service. It is terrible. Do not go with high expectations!! My friends who also eat here say the service has been bad from Day One. There servers were not rude – just not competent. However, I felt the food more than made up for it and would go back.

Massive pizza – 19′ pie – stay with the margarita pie. Been in Salvatore’s a few times – mostly because it is right next to the Renaissance hotel… OK Italian and on the pricey side. However, the take-out pizza is worth looking into. The missus and I ordered a simple 19′ magarita pizza. Great looking dough, lightly dressed with mozallera cheese and fresh basil. The sauce is sublime – little sweet (don’t go for the sweet version elsewhere) and tangy. The tomatoe sauce still has some chunks of tomatoe in them… great touch. Nice crust – sweet and a little charry. A very cool version of Lombardi in NYC. Go and eat yourself silly! BTW – the 19′ pie of magarita sets you back 17 bucks… a h… of a deal for Boston. I have spent a h… more and was not happy!

Perfect Italian Dinning. After years perfecting pizza, Sal opened up his first full service Italian restaurant in Boston. He does not disappoint. Neon lights, outdoor seating and a very creative menu highlights Salvatore’s offerings. The host was very friendly and thanks us for coming to the restaurant. The waitress was nice but at time clueless as to what was going on. Appitizers were a beautifully plated antipasto, brusetta and shrimp crostini, the latter two served on Sal’s pizza dough which was light and fluffy. The shrimps were huge and also served in their shrimp and scallops fra diavolo. The fra diavolo had a nice, spicy kick to it. The spanich and asiago ravilois were served al denta and made with green and white ravilois. The pricing for the Boston location is higher then the Lawrence restaurant so you are paying for the ambiance of Boston. It is worth the price if you enjoy going into Boston’s waterfront district. Parking can be tricky with lots at various charges and on street. The entire restaurant is very clean like it was just opened that day. Sal knows quality and it certainly shine through in his dishes and his restaurant.

Great place, great people!. I’m in Boston a week or more a month on business and seldom eat anywhere else. Food is very good, prices are quite reasonable, great service and a very friendly staff (especially Michael & Phil)!
