On a long trip to Boston, chose Salvatore to satisfy cravings for Italian food on high recommendations from family and friends. Loved the location of this outlet on waterfront. Seating area is big enough to accommodate 70-75 people with an option to choose between high and regular chairs. Our first impression on meeting the attendee on the reservation desk was not very good. We had reservation for 4. However we took the kid and thus needed 5 chairs. He gave us table with high chairs by the side of the bar. My mother was unable to sit comfortably on high chair. On repeated requests, he asked us to wait for 15 minutes. However when we checked, only 2 tables were occupied in restaurant area and he could have easily given us the table even before suggesting high chairs.Apart from this one incident which was staff specific, our experience was good. Our server was attentive with a smiling face. She even agreed to give Caesar dressing and parmesan seperate from romana salad as my mother is on low sodium diet. Salad was very fresh and met our expectations. Extra points for complimentary bread with awesome garlic infused olive oil..just loved it. Spaghetti in red sauce was good too. Would have been better had they boiled it for another minute or so. Eggplant parm pizza with breaded eggplant, ricotta and mozzarella was droolicious. I can actually order it again. Ordered chicken nuggets for the kid. Since I’m a vegetarian, can’t comment on the taste. Virgin mojito drinks again smelled of fresh mint and was refreshing.A good place to enjoy evenings and gave drinks with tasty Food. #hereartigoes
