Cold, Sterile, Unfriendly. No one likes a good bakery more than me, so I was rather discouraged to wander into this place and find a sterile atmosphere, listless uncaring employees who did not know the menu at all and refused to answer basic questions, and lots of premade and stale bakery items moldering in the chill chest. Nothing accelerates pastry or bread going stale faster than refrigeration. It is a shame too, because the location is really beautiful and Atlantic Wharf needs businesses like these. I’d much rather walk a further block or two and deal with the unceasing chaos at Flour Bakery, at least the staff is sweet and the products are amazing.
